11/20/09 - The Washington Post reports that continued scrutiny by the CDC has changed the numbers dramatically in regard to pediatric deaths attributed to H1N1 infection. Just as the total numbers of deaths have been increased to 4,000, the pediatric toll has now been increased to 300 to 800 between April 1 and October 17. This contrasts sharply with the typical 40-50 pediatric deaths reported in a typical flu season.
